“Mops” can mean anything from a damp cloth dragged behind the robot to spinning pads that the dock washes and dries for you. If your floors are mostly hard, that difference matters more than suction.
Combos also need to keep wet pads off your rugs. Check whether the mop lifts, detaches, or makes you set no-mop zones by hand.
- Mop style: static pad, vibrating plate, or spinning pads
- Pad lift height or automatic pad removal on carpet
- Dock that washes and hot-air dries pads (cuts down on smell)
- Clean and dirty water tank size vs how often you mop
- Floor-safe cleaning solution options from the maker
